River Indie has begun. River Electric, a Bengaluru-based startup, just debuted their electric scooter dubbed Indy in India on Wednesday at a price of Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). Its design sets it unique from other e-scooters on the market. The scooter is already being reserved. On the company's official website, you can make a reservation.

Design To Know

From the front, this scooter has a really unique appearance. There are two integrated LED daytime running lights in the dual front LED headlamps. Moreover, it has a 20-inch footboard, a six-inch completely digital colour instrument cluster that is relatively larger in size, and LED taillights.

You now got 14-inch black alloy wheels thanks to this. There is a 240 mm disc brake on the front wheel and a 200 mm disc brake on the back. The front suspension utilises a telescopic design, and the rear suspension uses a double hydraulic system. Together with a 12-liter glove box, the scooter's under-seat boot capacity is 43 litres. Some wonderful features have also been provided.

50K miles and a five-year warranty

A 4 kWh battery pack with an IP67 rating powers the River Indy. It will have a 6.7 kWh electric motor with a torque output of 26 Nm. This electric vehicle can go at a top speed of 90 kmph. 120 miles of range on a single charge, and a five-year, 50,000 km guarantee is included.
